Introduction to Chart Trading

1. What is Chart Trading?

Watching, analyzing, and placing orders can be performed on the chart at the same time. chart trading can satisfy investors' monitoring of price fluctuations, and quickly grasp prices and trade on the chart.

Features of Chart Trading:

  • Support direct and quick market price transactions, and limit price orders after selecting the order price on the chart.
  • Supports directly dragging and modifying the order entrustment price on the chart, and supports quick access to the order modification window.
  • Position information will also be reflected on the chart, and users can visually view position profit and loss and profit and loss ratio through the chart.

2. Chart Trading Function Module Description

I. How to open Chart Trading?

  • Entry 1: Click the "Chart Trading" button at the top of the chart, and the chart will switch to trading mode.
  • Entry 2: After sliding in the chart, a "+" will appear in the price area on the right, and clicking this button will trigger a trading prompt for switching charts.

Note: In order to ensure the security of user asset data, the transaction password needs to be verified before switching to chart trading. If the transaction password has been verified, then directly enter the chart trading mode. If the trading password expires after timeout, the chart trading mode will be exited, and the user needs to re-click to switch and verify the trading password.

II. Chart Price Line Description

Entrustment line: When the order is entrusted, an entrustment mark line will appear in the chart, showing the current entrusted order. The entrustment line will mark the transaction direction and quantity of the order, and you can quickly drag to modify or cancel the order on the entrustment line. The color of the entrusted order line follows the setting of the up and down color. If red up and green down are set, then the buying is red and the selling is green.

Position line: If there is a position in the current symbol, the chart will mark the position quantity on the corresponding position cost price (or average cost price), and the position can be closed directly on the position line.

III. Today's Order Data

In the chart trading mode, it supports quick viewing of order information. When there are multiple orders at similar prices in the chart, you can view all orders of the current day through the order data module, and support quick modification and cancellation operations in the order module. If you do not need to display the order module, you can hide it in "Settings - Chart Setting".
The Order of the Day module mainly displays the basic order data (such as transaction direction, order status, entrusted quantity, and entrusted price). If you want to view detailed order data, you can open and associate the "Today's Order" component.

IV. Chart Setting

Functional modules supported by chart trading: fast order placement at market price, day order module, position line, sliding price change. The above functional modules can be controlled through the chart settings to control whether they need to be displayed. If they are turned off, it means that the function is not available in the chart trading mode.

3.Instructions For Placing An Order For Chart Trading

I. Chart Trading - Market Order

In the chart trading mode, the top of the market chart can manipulate the number of orders and quickly place market price orders.

  • After setting the order quantity, click the market price buy/sell button to directly submit a market price order; in order to ensure the safety of the order, the user who has enabled the second order confirmation window will appear the second order confirmation window (since this setting belongs to User-defined behavior, you need to go to "Settings - Chart Settings" to check whether it is enabled).
  • The entrusted quantity defaults to one lot for the first time, and users can modify it through shortcut keys or manual input; the entrusted quantity supports 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, and full positions, and the entrusted quantity data is calculated and matched according to the user's current purchasing power.

Note: If the current entrusted quantity is 0, the button will be grayed out, and the order can only be placed after entering the quantity.

II. Chart Trading - Limit Order

When analyzing the trend of the market chart, you can quickly place an order by selecting a price in the market chart. The price area on the right side of the system will slide with the mouse to display the selected price in real time. Click the "+" in the price area to place an order. At present, the system only supports LO (or ELO) by selecting a price on the chart to place an order. When the order type is not supported during the order placement period, there will be an order prompt, and you can directly change the order type in the order prompt.
Note: In order to ensure that the order can be submitted, there may be a slight discrepancy between the selected price and the final order price. Currently, the price is rounded up according to the smallest unit. (For the minimum price unit, please refer to: the minimum price change value when the "-/+" sign is clicked in the component price input box for placing an order.)

III. Change Order On The Chart

In the chart trading mode, three entry points for changing orders are supported: drag the chart to change the price, click the quantity area on the entrustment line to enter the order component, and enter the order component through the order module change icon.

  • Change the price by dragging the icon: You can press and hold the entrustment line to drag up and down on the chart. After you release the mouse, you will submit an order change. After the order is successfully changed, the entrustment line will stay at the price after the order change.
  • Click the entrustment line quantity area: If you need to modify the entrustment quantity, you can click the entrustment line quantity area to jump to the order component. The order component will carry the entrustment information by default. Then directly submit the order modification. After the order modification is successful, the chart will update the order data.
  • Order module modification entry: For orders that support modification, there will be a modification icon in the order module, and you can click the modification icon to enter the order component to modify the order price and quantity.

IV. Cancellation On The Chart

In the chart trading mode, two cancellation orders are supported: click "X" on the chart entrustment line, and cancel the order icon through the order module.

  • Chart cancellation: Click "X" directly on the order line to quickly cancel the order. If you have turned off the second prompt for order cancellation, you can reopen it in "Settings-Chart Setting".
  • Order module cancellation: After expanding the order list, you can click the cancel order icon to enter the quick order cancellation.
