For users in Hong Kong, opening an account using a third-party witness involves specific procedures and requirements. Here are the steps for account opening.
Step 1. Open the Longbridge App, navigate to Portfolio to access the account opening application page, then click Open an account.
Step 2. Upload your identification document. Once it is confirmed, click Next, Personal Information. Fill in the personal information, and upload proof of address, then click Next, Employment.
Tips: If you do not have your identification document with you at the moment, click the blue text labeled Click to upload later, as shown in the figure above. Fill in the other required information, and then upload your identification document after the Risk Disclosure page.
Step 3. Enter your occupation information. The email address will be used to receive important information, such as statements. Please ensure that the information you have entered is correct before clicking Confirm.
Step 4. Fill in Investment Experience and Confirmation of Compliance.
Step 5. Read and acknowledge the Risk Disclosure, Click Next, Confirm to confirm that all the information you have entered is correct, and then click Next.
Step 6. On the authentication page, select Choose other account opening methods below, and click Third Party Witness.
Step 7. To complete your account opening preparation, please print and sign the account opening form, then have it signed by a third-party witness. Once all signatures are complete, arrange for document delivery via courier service.
Step 8. Confirm that the documents have been mailed out, then click Sent.
Step 9. Please be patient after submitting your account opening application. We will review your application as soon as possible. You can check the review results on the Portfolio page of the Longbridge App, through App notifications, or via the email address you provided when opening your account.
