How do I transfer shares into my account?

To transfer shares in, you'll need to submit a share transfer-in request and have your delivering broker confirm the share transfer-out. Follow the detailed steps below to submit your request and initiate the transfer-out with your broker.

Step 1. Submit a stock transfer application.

1.1 Go to the Longbridge App > PortfolioTransfer to submit a transfer-in application.

If you have already made a deposit, please select Portfolio > More  > Share Transfer-In.

1.2 Please select your sending broker, provide the required broker details, and enter the stock code and quantity. (Currently, we support inbound transfers of HK and US stocks.) Double-check the transfer and stock details, then tap Confirm and Submit to receive sample email instructions at your registered Longbridge email address.

Note: Providing the cost price is optional.
- If it is not filled in, the cost price per share will be calculated based on the closing price on the day when the transfer is completed
- If it is filled in, after the transfer-in is completed, the P/L will be calculated based on the cost price provided.
- The cost price cannot be changed once filled in. If you have any questions, please contact the customer service.

Step 2. Submit the stock transfer-out request to your delivering broker.

2.1Take BOCI transfer-out as an example: After the information submitted on the Longbridge App is confirmed, the corresponding transfer request instructions will be sent to your registered e-mail address. Please follow the instructions in the e-mail.

2.2 Follow the transfer instructions: Download, print, and sign the attachment (transfer application form). Finally, submit the transfer-out request to BOCI by e-mail with the signed application form.

2.3 Wait patiently for the email confirmation from BOCI.

Notes:

After completing the above steps, your request will be confirmed by both parties. Under normal circumstances, the transfer can be completed within 3-5 working days.
