How do I deposit a check?

You can fund your Longbridge account with a check deposit. Simply fill out a check and deposit it at a bank counter or a check deposit machine. You'll need to upload proof of the deposit once the transfer is complete. 

Below are the details on the process, processing time, fees, and other important notes.

Step 1. Fill out the check

Ensure the check's front lists "Long Bridge HK Limited" as the beneficiary.

On the back, write your Longbridge account number, e.g., Longbridge Integrated Account (H10057829).

After completing the check, please take clear photos of both the front and back of the check.

Step 2. Transfer funds by check

Step 4. Upload the remittance proof.

  • Go to the Longbridge App > Assets > Deposit.
  • Selecting the deposit currency andenter your bank information.
  • Select check transferand upload the remittance

Notes

  1. Only checks issued by banks inHong Kong are acceptable. Promissory notes issued by banks in Hong Kong will not be accepted.
  2. The bank account used for the transfer must be registered under the same name as your securities account with Longbridge HK Limited. Transfers fromany third-party accounts will not be accepted. Any refund fees incurred due to transfers from third-party accounts will be your responsibility.
  3. It takes time for banks to processthe remittance request, and a bank notification stating that the funds have been remitted does not mean that Longbridge HK Limited has received the deposit. Funds are subject to settlement and approval upon receipt. Please note that neither banks nor Longbridge HK Limited will process remittance requests during Hong Kong public holidays, so please allow sufficient time for processing.
  4. It is not recommended to transfer checks to the ICBC (Asia) bank account of Longbridge HK Limited, asthe deposit process is relatively long due to the extra time needed for customer information verification with the bank.
  5. Longbridgedoes not accept direct cash deposits at this moment.

Q1: When will the deposit show on my account record?

Usually, your deposit record will appear in your account record in 2 working days. The exact time may vary depending on banks.

Q2: Is there a fee for deposits?

No, we don’t charge deposit fees. Note that your bank may apply fees.
